Nova Traductors i Intèrprets has created www.zonanova.net, a web site designed to cater to the needs of Spanish translators. The site is divided in three main areas: Utilidades (Utilities), where we offer links to utilities useful for translators; Diccionarios (Dictionaries), where we provide links to glossaries and dictionaries for specific fields; and Documentación (Documents), where we offer those documents we consider essential in each of our four specialty areas: Tecnología (Technology) Farmacia y Medicina (Pharmacology and Medicine), Institucional (Institutional Relations) and Interpretación (Interpreting). In the Home area there are news of interest to translators working from or into Spanish. Visitors can send to colleagues those news items they consider interesting by clicking on the link Envía la noticia (Send this news item). Shortly it will be possible for visitors to register in a list where news will be sent automatically. Needless to say, we very much welcome any information related to the translation industry that visitors may send us. The site does not pretend to list an indiscriminate wealth of resources, but rather a selection of choice links and documents which have proved useful in our daily practice as translators throughout the eleven years we have been in business.
